LASHMOPOLITAN KIND OF LADY

Tracey of Lipstick And Muffin, Vyvian To and Myself at the Yorkdale Launch Event

There's little in this world that can bring about as much instantaneous confidence as a set of false lashes. Whether purchased at the drugstore or Holt Renfrew they're sure to make your eyes more alluring and prominent, bringing your look from 0 to 100, real quick. But lately, I've been learning that there are some real benefits to purchasing ones of quality over those that can be tossed after a use or two. This was further ingrained in me after I got to test out Esqido Lashes at their recent launch party in Holt Renfrew

Esqido Lashes are known for their supreme quality. They are handcrafted using mink hairs that have only been shed naturally and are intricately placed on a comfortable cotton band, creating 11 lash styles for consumers to play with. I attended the event, which took place last week at Yorkdale, with my friend and fellow false lash connoisseur, Vyvian. After playing around with what are considered 'lash monocles' we both settled on the Lashmopolitan Mink False Lashes ($42 CAD). The Lashmopolitan is a bold choice, which starts with flirty criss-cross strands near the inner corner of the eye and finishes with long luscious locks at the end, and is meant to give you that sexy, winged out effect at the corner of your eyes. When paired with the Companion Eyelash Glue ($12 CAD) the lashes do truly last the entire day and remain comfortable. I had my lashes applied during the event, which occurred around 2pm, and continued to wear them until 6am the next morning when I finally found my bed once again. They stayed in place all night, and still somehow managed to remain intact and ready for future uses despite my mischief. I'm so impressed that I'll definitely be purchasing an additional pair... or four.

Have you had the chance to try a pair of Esqido Lashes?
