Pairing leather with denim is nothing new, just take a look at a gang of bikers and you'll spot countless members adorned in the duo. It's a trend that I've been partial to throughout my youth thanks to the influence of heavy metal and punk, and it's just recently made a re-appearance in my wardrobe after I stumbled upon this jacket/dress combination while thrifting at Plato's Closet in Burlington. The jacket hails from Northbound Leather Co, a leather/fetish company based out of Toronto, while the  dress, contrary to popular belief, was created by Abercrombie and Fitch. The juxtaposition of the tough biker jacket paired with the flowing nature of the denim dress makes this outfit edgy and soft all at once - an aesthetic I thoroughly enjoy. Here, I've dressed it down by throwing some braids in my hair and Timberlands on my feet, but this combination can totally be dressed up with a pair of heels and a clutch for a night out.
