The temperatures have finally returned to double digits, and with their rise layers of clothing have been shed and smiles re-instilled. If you were in the city this past weekend you felt a definite shift in it's energy; the streets, parks and patios were packed with pale bodies yearning to feel the warmth of the sun once again. I unfortunately spent the weekend slaving away at work, and therefore was hidden from the sun -my explanation for my vampire-like complexion-, but I did hurry through some errands in the above outfit. Composed primarily of Zara and H&M items, I absolutely love the way this look came together, and have been dying to wear this jacket/crop top combination all winter long. The jacket, created with inspiration from Alexander Wang, remains one of my all-time favourites hanging in my closet. The way the black and navy quilting compliments the stripped navy crop top leaves you questioning whether they were created to be worn exclusively together; a thought I can assure you is false given my years working for Zara. Finished with a simple pair of black booties and ripped denim this outfit is one that I will wear time and time again.
